Chevallum: Sunshine Coast soul darling Andrea Kirwin has joined an incredible music line up for Strawbfest this year at Chevallum State School.
The Australian/Fijian singer-songwriter is a long-time beloved powerful vocalist, incredibly engaging story teller, and major supporter in promoting our ever-burgeoning music scene.
Andrea Kirwin and her band will grace the Main Stage, with live music across three stages, and a licensed bar, with loads of entertainment for the kids.
Strawbfest organisers said they were immensely grateful to have Andrea as part of their community, and for providing a strong “soundtrack of Strawbfest 2023”.
Strawbfest is a much-loved and renowned Sunshine Coast event, with the school P&C proudly partnering with many local businesses and farms to celebrate the history of the strawberry growing region.
This year marks 37 years since its inaugural inception, and Strawbfest is one of the Coast’s most impressive school fairs always drawing thousands each year.
There will be fairground rides, market stalls, a side-show alley, fireworks, kids activities, wholesome family vibes, and for course – an abundance of strawberries!
As expected, there will be strawberry treats of every variety, and some of that good old-fashioned community street food to fill hungry bellies.
There’s even a licensed strawberry daiquiri bar – OK, now hold the front page! I think Mum’s ears just pricked up.
And there’s even raffle prizes worth thousands of dollars, and so much more. It’s free entry, just BYO cash/card for food, drinks, rides and market vendors.
Be sure to support this incredible local community festival and its legacy, which proves to be a roaring success each year, drawing in the wholesome Sunny Coast family crew from far and wide.
