October 26, 20233 min read

Noosa: Summer is looking sizzling hot with a massive line-up including Aussie hip-hop masters Resin Dogs just announced for the Full Moon Dance party at Verrierdale Hall on November 25.

Heavy Wax, Thump and DJ Katch will also help bring in those feel-good, magic-moon vibes.

Resin Dogs

In the true revolutionary spirit of hip-hop, Resin Dogs have continuously evolved their style, always staying a few steps ahead of the pack.

Fusing together live music and turntables, the group is back in big-band mode featuring guest MCs, singers and the addition of back-up singers, The Sativa Divas, who have added harmonies and a fresher sound to some already classic Dogs tunes.

Resin Dogs produce a mash-up of sounds and fresh Aussie hip-hop that is drenched with breakbeat, dancehall, dub, funk and soul.

Heavy Wax

Gold Coast eight-piece roots group, Heavy Wax, come hot off the pan ready to serve up their high-energy rock-Soul-funk-reggae mash. For those in search of hi-fidelity music with feeling, solid beats and that extra punch sound only-a-horn section can deliver, these guys could just be your new favourite band.

Thump

Heavily influenced by the masters and legends in funk and soul, Thump, pays tribute to the legendary bass players who have brought that ‘slap/thump’ funk sounda and heavy groove to the world.

Thump has a collective love for the New Orleans funk, and bring this approach to their original music.

They’ll have that funk/soul/groove flowing through your bones from the moment they step on stage.

DJ Katch

Unleash your free spirit and get caught up in the sound waves of DJ Katch who will be keeping the vibes high and the tunes flowing in the garden.
