September 17, 20241 min read

Third-release tickets to the Sunshine Coast’s juciest music event of the year, the Big Pineapple Festival, have sold out.

Some of Australia’s biggest artists are set to take over Woombye’s famous Pineapple Fields on October 19 including; The Amity Affliction, Bliss N Eco, Golden Features, Peking Duo, Tones and I and Vera Blue.

Local acts Betty Taylor, Raw Ordio, Karlou, Tess Fapani and Earth Sign will also perform.

Last and final tickets to Big Pineapple Festival 2024 are now available for $155. Camping is $60.

There will be exotic foods, fancy dress competitions, the famous lantern parade, a Piney sing-along, and the inaugural Great Australian Pineapple Toss.

Speaking at a Sunshine Coast Event Industry Association (SCEIA) event at Solbar recently, organiser Mark Pico says his 16,500 capacity festival is likely to sell out.

Mark says says next year the festival could become a two-day affair, and punters can expect to buy their water in aluminium cans.
