Peach PRC adds two new shows to Australian tour

Australia’s queen of pop Peach PRC has added two shows to her sold-out Australia tour this March and April.

But whether Brisbane sees another one, we will have to wait. With a new look this year, Peach is set to play her biggest headline shows to date.

The Secret PRC Tour hits stages in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.

Joining her for the tour is Sydney-based singer-songwriter, musician and producer, Carla Wehbe. Carla is set to hype up the crowds with her nostalgic sounds and catchy pop hooks.

Peach captivated audiences and music tastemakers last year with her debut EP, “Manic Dream Pixie”.

Beyond stockpiling millions of streams it debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. And her singles,
“Perfect For You” and “F U Goodbye”, consecutively secured 63rd and 68th spots on Triple J’s Hottest 100 .

Among the EP’s acclaim, Peach received multiple ARIA Award nominations. This included Best Pop, Best Video, and Best Artwork. It was even nominated for a 2023 TikTok Award (Music Act of The Year).

World tours for Peach PRC

Last year also saw Peach PRC traveling the globe, with a sold-out debut headline tour across Australia. She also headed to North America, and the United Kingdom, with special performances at BlackPink‘s show, at London’s Hyde Park. Not to mention Falls Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Spin Off Festival, and Spilt Milk Festival.

Before the year came to an end, Peach gave the best gift of all with the release of her latest single, “Like A Girl Does”, which saw her third appearance in the Hottest 100, coming in at #81.

The rising pop star has already had an unbelievable journey, from writing and recording in her bedroom to social media phenomenon into smart, slick, and sweet songs with a bold bite.

Equally funny and sensitive, she holds nothing back when it comes to life’s ups and downs, mental health, and everything in between.

Social media fame big factor

She’s already built an audience of 4+ million social followers, generated over 1.7 billion TikTok views, 175 million combined artist streams, and attracted acclaim from Billboard, Vogue Australia, BuzzFeed, Consequence, NME, Paper, Refinery29 and more.

Launching her TikTok page in 2019, Peach organically attracted an audience by posting everything from funny moments to self-care advice and, of course, music.

Along the way, she carefully cultivated an undeniable style with a twist.

Her debut single, “Josh”, was the ultimate kiss-off to the worst ex ever and has received over 36 million streams and counting.

Then came her self-proclaimed girly camp pop single, “Symptomatic”, receiving 12+ million combined streams to date, ending 2021 with “Heavy”, which has tallied 22+ million combined streams.

In 2022, she released the liberating single “God Is A Freak” and had everyone talking including pop music titans Billie Eilish, Finneas, and Justin Tranter.

Peach followed the year up with “Forever Drunk”, where she teamed up with GRAMMY Award-nominated powerhouse songwriter Bonnie McKee.
