Middle Kids are that indie-rock band where the girls want to be Hannah Joy and the boys want to date her.
Hannah is a mother-of-two touring supermum, who performed with her Sydney trio at last year’s Caloundra Music Festival, while pregnant with a three-year-old.
Middle Kids play an all-ages gig at The Shed at Aussie World, on October 10, as part of a mini tour, which also includes Townsville and Albury.
Middle Kids heartfelt lyrics offer bright pop-folk sounds, delivered by Hannah’s soothing and sincere vocals (often reminiscent of the darling, Clare Bowditch).
Best known for their songs, “Edge of Town”, “Bootleg Firecracker” and “Stacking Chairs”, the band’s last album, “Today We’re The Greatest”, won Best Rock Album at the 2021 ARIA Awards.
They performed their hit song “Edge of Town” on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Their tour promotes their third album, “Faith Crisis Pt 1”, and takes the listener on a wild ride through belief, loss, and renewal.
It also features an epic collaboration with Gang of Youths‘ Dave Le’aupepe.
Middle Kids are sure to bring all the feels, love and reassurance, when they play at The Shed on October 10, from 7pm.
The Shed is at Aussie World, Palmview, on the Sunshine Coast.
Don’t miss out on getting tickets before they sell out.
Tickets from $69.90: https://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=MIDKIDS24&v=HES.
