VERATIE and KRAVE bring heavy-hitters to The Presynct to celebrate new songs

October 10, 20242 min read

Main picture: Brisbane trio KRAVE will perform at The Presynct tomorrow night

  • VERATIE X KRAVE single co-launch
  • Friday, October 11
  • The Presynct, Nambour
  • Tickets $20-$25

Punk, metal and nu-wave goth heads are set to take over The Presynct tomorrow night with a host of local heavy hard-hitters.

They are celebrating the launch of KRAVE‘s new single, “Unalive” and VERATIE‘s, “Ashes”.

“Ashes” unveils an otherworldly beauty from frontwoman Sarah, whose dark and dreamy vocals dissect the fragility of the human experience.

With every soul-splitting riff, the track’s resurrection metaphor asks the listener to stand up against self-destruction.

Sarah says the lyrics offer “an unflinching analysis of the relationships we have with others and with ourselves.

“And the fight to reclaim identity,” she says.

Sarah formed VERATIE with guitarist and beatmaker Connor in 2021.

Together they weave synth and heavy guitars, with relentless rhythm and soaring melodic and rap vocals.

High energy band KRAVE are a fast rising alt-metal trio from Brisbane, known to conquer stages with their engaging, charismatic, and striking stage performance.

They forge an alternative sound through an alliance of melody, heavy and raw emotionality, under the umbrella of metal and modern-rock.

The band delivers their sound with such conviction, they are known to consistently house the hearts and minds of many diverse heavy music fans from different backgrounds.

Discussing raw experiences related to mental and emotional illness, substance abuse, addiction and neurodiversity, KRAVE derives captivation among people looking for shared connection.

“Unalive” is their fourth single to be released from their upcoming EP, “Only Human”, out on October 18.
