Eat Street Northshore celebrates 10 years

November 10, 20232 min read

Hamilton: It’s the birthplace of the humble cronut – a croissant-doughnut hybrid – and this weekend Eat Street Northshore celebrates 10 years of entertaining Brisbane.

It was a simple concept which paved the way for many to come: a shipping container foodie’s wonderland with live music, entertainment and thousands of hungry punters.

Co-owner Jacki MacDonald (of “Hey, Hey It’s Saturday” fame) said the venture had been a “wonderful adventure”.

“We have had 10 years of delicious food, live music, fairy lights and the best sunsets on the river in Brisbane,” she said.

“We love live music and present around 19 different acts every weekend. So visitors to Eat Street will always see happy entertainers on all the different stages.”

This weekend there will be music from Pink Matter, Soul Cutz (pictured), Slips & the FW’s and The Unbreakables.

“We will continue to do our best to help the fabulous chefs of Eat Street present wonderful food from around the world.

“We have dancing and music and singing, and fire twirling.

“We’ve got fireworks, the JetSki boys on the river, it’s going be fantastic.

“And the weather is perfect. How good!”

Put a soundtrack to your dining experience from Eat Street’s MainDeck Stage, which features top local and touring bands as well as regular featured headline shows every weekend.

The OpenSky Theatre favours more edgy fun-filled live entertainment and big-screen entertainment, while the LaneWay Cabaret hosts breezy jazz bands and more intimate style entertainment.

Solo performers are positioned throughout Eat Street so you’re never far from live music or entertainment.

A full lineup of celebrations is at: www.eatstreetnorthshore.com.au.
