Four breakthrough Queensland artists will pool their talents for a musical showcase at Woolloogabba on August 9.
Music Mafia will bring Ampersand, Hati, and Hugo & The Hive and Lydia Urbina, from across South-East Queensland, to The Cave Inn.
Ampersand keys player and manager Jarrod Tutbury says Music Mafia is a new collaboration between like-minded independent acts.
“Simply put, this line-up has united us, as independents, to share gigs and support each other, when the music industry is struggling,” Jarrod says.
“This is our attempt to take some agency in an increasingly unpredictable time.
“These bands have distinct flavours which will surely spice up your night with indie, pop, funk and neo-soul sensations.
“If you want to support live music and discover a new favourite sound this is your chance.”
