The best kind of community stands shoulder to shoulder: introducing Punk Banana Club. It’s the newest corner of YELO dedicated to local music lore, gig culture, and sunshine rebellion.
PBC turns strangers into mates and is all about making every night out more fun, more loud, and more inclusive. It’s a little bit surf-soaked, a whole lot chaotic, and built for the people who follow the live music trail like they depend on it.
It’s where stories, sounds, and subcultures collide. Every hat, poster, playlist and gig guide becomes a part of the fabric, stitched together by the bands, the surf rats, the punters, and the gig gremlins who shape it.
This isn’t a polished scene. It’s loud, imperfect, DIY, and a hyper-local celebration of the Sunshine Coast’s underground musical heart. Punk Banana Club brings all of that energy together and gives it a home.
