Soundbox Studios
Soundbox Studios remains one of the Coast’s most practical full-band rehearsal options. The Nambour site has five studios and runs as a 24-hour creative space, with online booking and secure self-access.
Its Studio 3 Rehearse Pro room currently lists a Pearl drum kit with cymbals, two Blackstar guitar amps and cabinets, a Markbass rig, Yamaha 12-channel mixer, three AKG microphones, Yamaha PA speakers and a digital piano.
Best for: full bands, loud rehearsal, pre-show run-throughs.

Bli Bli Bleep Bloop is a dedicated rehearsal studio established in 2023 and is a useful new addition to the Coast’s rehearsal-room map. The studio describes itself as a room where bands can plug in and make a racket rather than a polished recording facility pretending to be one.
The room lists a drum kit and PA, plus a projector and disco ball. Availability is shown online and bookings or questions can be sent directly to the studio.
Best for: band rehearsal, loud practice, writing sessions.

Studio Sociaal
Studio Sociaal is a broader creative production facility rather than a traditional band lock-up, but current venue listings confirm rehearsal areas, soundproof music rooms and a professional sound-treated recording space.
It makes the most sense for smaller line-ups, writing sessions, recording prep and bands that want a more controlled creative room. External hire listings currently place pricing around the $70 to $80 an hour mark depending on the room and use, so confirm the current quote directly.

The Old Ambulance Station
The Black Box Theatre at the Old Ambo in Nambour is purpose-built for live music and theatre, soundproof, air-conditioned and equipped with a sound system. It seats roughly 80 to 100 people and can be hired, making it useful for performance prep, production rehearsals and creative development rather than ordinary weekly band practice.
