$60m waterpark for Aussie World

June 28, 20241 min read

Sunshine Coast residents could be getting even wetter at the home of The Shed with a proposal for a $60 million waterpark.

The beloved Palmview live music venue, fuel stop, theme park, and pub precinct – known as Aussie World – lodged an application for the proposal with Council this week.

If it goes ahead it will feature 16 waterslides, leisure pools, action pools and several waterplay areas.

Visitors can have cocktails by the pool, on sunlounges, or at their private cabana, and enjoy food and drinks from retailers, and stock up at a souvenier shop, in the proposal.

More to come.
