Pricey and Wave Raiders to support Screaming Jets at Banana Bender Pub

December 3, 20245 min read

Sunshine Coast music legend Pricey and tween rockstars Wave Raiders are set to support The Screaming Jets when they perform at the Banana Bender Pub on January 4.

Jets frontman Dave Gleeson has been a huge supporter of our rising local talent, performing with Pricey at Priceless Record’s Big Weekend Festival at Blackflag, held earlier this year.

Pricey, who has a new song out, and Wave Raiders, who packed out Solbar recently, will continue the tour with the Aussie rock legends at Distillery Rd, Beenleigh, on January 3 and at Miami Marketta on January 5.

Pricey’s Wheatus tour and new song

Founding member and former lead guitarist and vocalist of The Chats, Pricey is set to join Wheatus for 14 shows when they tour Australia for the Dirtbags Across Australia Acoustic Tour, in January and February 2025.

Pricey also has a new song out: “Bastards Never Change”; an infectious rock tune which boasts true-blue grit, and some undeniably catchy chorus melodies. Have a listen!

Pricey found lyrical inspiration for the song while supporting The Screaming Jets on their recent national tour.

He says the song reminds us to take stock of what we do have in life, and to always remember things could be a lot worse.
