November promises to bring a fantastic lineup of HUGE live music gigs with the likes of Metallica, Paul Kelly and Rob Thomas coming to venues across South-East Queensland.
The Big Pineapple Festival kicked things off yesterday, bringing 16,000 music lovers to the Sunshine Coast’s famous pineapple fields at Woombye. Hilltop Hoods, Pnau and The Cat Empire played epic sets, despite severe thunderstorms threatening the festival.
In Brisbane, Ricky Martin and the Pixies will perform gigs in the river city, while the Gold Coast welcomes Paul Kelly and Missy Higgins as headliners of Red Hot Summer Tour at Southport on February 1.
The Gold Coast Music Awards is set to be held on November 27, and music festival-newcomer Bluff Fest brings Hockey Dad and The Angels to Alexandra Headland over two days, from November 29-30.
Whether you’re holidaying, passing through, here on business, or a true-blue local of one of these great regions, we’ve rounded up the best gigs we reckon you need to get your booty around this month.
