FLOOD is a series of hyper-local Spotify playlists built to capture the sound of the places we love. From the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane to the Gold Coast and beyond, each playlist spotlights local artists across indie, folk, surf-pop, alt-rock, electronic and more. Updated weekly, FLOOD is a living sound map shaped by the artists, scenes and communities of each region.

If Australia’s music scenes had their own sounds, what would they be? YELO Magazine’s new project FLOOD answers that question one city at a time. More than just a playlist series, it is a cultural project designed to spotlight emerging Australian artists.
We kick things off with the sounds of the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane, with more cities to come as FLOOD grows across the country. These are the first official FLOOD playlists.
