In Pictures: Transvision Vamp @ Banana Bender Pub 14/2/26

February 18, 20261 min read

As Wendy James of Transvision Vamp took the stage at Banana Bender Pub, the room instantly knew its role. Touring Australia for the first time in decades, the UK pop-rock group played to a crowd that had clearly lived with these songs for years.

Choruses like “Baby I Don’t Care” and “I Want Your Love” turned the night into something closer to a big high school reunion than a comeback. Catch Transvision Vamp in Melbourne tonight (Wednesday), Adelaide tomorrow, and rounding out the tour in Perth on February 21. Photos by Dameeka Middleton
