Caloundra + Moffat Beach
The southern end of the Coast has one of the strongest gallery clusters, with the public regional gallery in Caloundra and smaller beachside spaces around Moffat Beach.
Sunshine Coast Council’s regional gallery. Where: 22 Omrah Avenue, Caloundra. Best for: regional exhibitions, public programs and touring shows.
Moffat Beach contemporary art gallery. Where: 6/30 Ulm Street, Moffat Beach. Best for: contemporary art, pop art and group shows.
Artist run gallery with painting, ceramics, jewellery, mixed media, photography and sculpture. Where: 2 Seaview Terrace, Moffat Beach.
Maroochydore + Buderim + Sippy Downs
Library exhibition spaces, university collections and long running fine art galleries sit across the middle of the Coast.
Changing exhibitions inside Maroochydore Library. Best for: local exhibitions and emerging Sunshine Coast artists.
Free public gallery at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Where: 90 Sippy Downs Drive, Sippy Downs.
Buderim fine art gallery and framing space. Where: 25 Gloucester Road, Buderim.
Nambour
Gallery exhibitions, artist studios, public art and community spaces sit close to Nambour’s music and performance scene.
Gallery and creative studio by Ali Atkinson. Where: 12 Queen Street, Nambour.
Multi arts hub with gallery, black box theatre and creative studios. Where: 80 Howard Street, Nambour.
Murals, sculptures and artworks through the CBD. Best for: public art and a self guided wander.
Noosa + Noosaville
Noosa’s art scene runs from the regional gallery in Tewantin to contemporary gallery spaces and art school programs in Noosaville.

Contemporary art gallery and art school. Where: 11/100 Rene Street, Noosaville.
Eumundi + hinterland
Eumundi, Montville and Maleny mix gallery visits with markets, makers and day trip culture.
Contemporary art and guest exhibitions beside Eumundi’s market culture.
Long running gallery in a 1890s Queenslander. Where: 138 Main Street, Montville.
Maleny artist collective showing handmade work, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking and painting. Where: 38 Maple Street, Maleny.
