Viral Instagram sensations Phil and The Blanks have scored their first festival slot at Crafted Festival Gold Coast.

The Sunshine Coast fishing-shirt weirdos and unlikely Lowes menswear pin-up boys will join The Vanns, Selve, SPACE&AGES, Laurel Hill, ALLORA and Beatniks DJs at Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach, on Saturday, September 12.
The news lands as Phil and The Blanks release “type sh!t” with US band Joint Operation, following a recent run that includes “GOOD BOY” feat. Harlum and “PHINS UP”.
Crafted Festival is celebrating 10 years in 2026, with its Gold Coast event bringing together craft beer, cider, live music, food trucks and a beachside festival atmosphere in the middle of Broadbeach.
The event is also heading to Newcastle on November 7 and Melbourne on November 21, turning its 10-year anniversary into a three-city run.
For Phil and The Blanks, it is a sharp jump from Instagram fame to a real festival stage.
The band has built a loyal following through short-form videos, oddball humour and a proudly local sense of the ridiculous.
Crafted Festival Gold Coast runs from 11am to 8.30pm and is an 18+ event.
