YELO has compiled three years of songs featured on its weekly radio segment, including hundreds of songs from Sunshine Coast and Queensland artists.
Every Tuesday at 10am, YELO founder Penny Brand joins broadcaster and longtime music advocate Sarah Howells to introduce two Queensland releases and discuss upcoming shows.
“There’s always more good music coming out than we can possibly fit into one segment, but it gives us a chance to put a couple of new songs directly in front of local listeners,” Penny said.
YELO has also compiled an archive of the music featured on air since 2024.
Three years of local music
The list includes Sunshine Coast and Queensland artists such as JC & The Tree, Calan Mai, Che Burns, Cora, Nana’s Pie, Buttermello, The Dreggs, Katie Noonan, Ziggy Alberts, Betty Taylor, Brook St, Drew Wilson, and many more.
Some artists appear several times, with multiple releases played across the three years.
The full page also includes details about the weekly segment, links to listen through ABC Listen and the Songs for Tuesday Spotify playlist, bringing together the songs featured on air.
