RAYE is bringing her search for a husband to the Gold Coast, joining Lewis Capaldi and a huge cast of international and Australian artists at Spilt Milk 2026.

The husbands are coming.

After spending the better part of the past year asking “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”, RAYE might finally have an answer.

Spilt Milk used the British superstar’s massive hit to reveal her as one of its 2026 headliners, and honestly, we couldn’t think of a better way to announce that thousands of prospective husbands will soon be descending on the Gold Coast.

RAYE will headline Spilt Milk alongside Lewis Capaldi, with the festival heading to the Gold Coast on December 13.

But now that we’ve established the whereabouts of the husbands, there is another question.

Who else should you actually see?

Beyond RAYE and Lewis Capaldi

The reaction to this year’s Spilt Milk lineup has been divided.

While RAYE and Lewis Capaldi need little introduction, plenty of people online have admitted they don’t recognise many of the names further down the poster.

But that’s where things get interesting.

The 2026 bill stretches across pop, hip hop, electronic and alternative music, with Baby Keem, Remi Wolf, KETTAMA, STÜM, TOBIAHS, Aleksiah and Becca Hatch among the artists joining the headliners.

And rather than writing off the names you don’t know, we’d argue they’re exactly where you should start digging.

The Spilt Milk artists worth knowing (further down the poster)

RAYE is looking for a husband. We know this because she made an entire song about it. But could she find an Australian one at Spilt Milk?

“WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” became one of the defining pop songs of the past year, but anyone who knows RAYE beyond that song knows there is a lot more going on here.

Her catalogue moves through pop, R&B, soul, jazz and dance music, and her live performances have helped turn her into one of the biggest artists in the world.

Then there’s Remi Wolf, whose brilliantly weird take on pop, funk and indie makes her one of the acts we’re particularly keen to see live.

For the electronic crowd, KETTAMA, STÜM and TOBIAHS give the lineup some serious weight, while Baby Keem brings one of the biggest hip hop names on the bill.

And further down the poster are Australian artists including Aleksiah and Becca Hatch, exactly the kind of names worth knowing before everyone else starts talking about them.

Further down the lineup, The Terrys are an easy pick. The Australian indie rock favourites have built a reputation for ridiculously fun live shows and are exactly the kind of band you don’t want to overlook because their name is sitting further down the poster.

Miss Kaninna is another one we’re absolutely not skipping. Local audiences might remember her supporting Amyl and the Sniffers at The Station in 2025, where she brought her mix of hip hop and R&B to a sold out crowd. “Blak Britney”, anyone?

A festival lineup doesn’t have to be a greatest hits list

There has already been plenty of debate about whether this year’s Spilt Milk lineup is strong enough.

But maybe recognising every artist on a festival poster isn’t really the point.

Some of the best festival discoveries happen because you wandered into a set knowing absolutely nothing and walked out with a new favourite artist.

So if your first reaction to the Spilt Milk lineup was “who?”, perhaps don’t panic just yet.

You’ve got a few months to do your homework.

And if all else fails, we know at least one thing.

The husbands are coming.
