Queensland all-ages gig guide
Looking for live music you can actually get into if you’re under 18? YELO tracks all-ages shows, split-licensed gigs and events where minors can attend with a parent or guardian.
Updated October 2026
This guide is updated as new under-18 and all-ages shows are announced across Queensland.
Why all-ages gigs matter
Australian singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts has reflected on questioning what felt genuinely true to him, and on returning to things that kept him grounded — including environmentalism, independence and a desire to play more all-ages shows.
That idea cuts to a bigger problem in live music: younger fans can love an artist, follow the scene and buy the records, but still struggle to find shows they are actually allowed into. YELO built this guide to make those gigs easier to find.
YELO has also featured Ziggy Alberts on ABC Radio Sunshine Coast, including playing his songs on our weekly music segment.

Upcoming shows where under-18s are currently permitted under the event’s published entry rules.

Entry rules vary. Some shows genuinely admit all ages, while licensed venues may require minors to stay in a separate area or attend with a parent or guardian. Some events also have special rules for children under a certain age. Always read the ticket page before booking.
