Beartooth will bring their Pure Ecstasy World Tour to Brisbane in January. Fit For A King and Volumes will also join the Australian run.
The Ohio heavy rock band will play Fortitude Music Hall on January 31, 2027. The Brisbane show closes out a four-date Australian headline tour presented by Destroy All Lines.
The run starts in Adelaide on January 26. From there, Beartooth will head to Melbourne and Sydney before finishing in Brisbane.
The tour announcement also comes with new album news. Beartooth’s sixth album, Pure Ecstasy, is due for release on August 28 through Fearless Records.
New album, new tour
Beartooth have also shared the album’s title track. Frontman Caleb Shomo said the song sets the tone for the record from the start.
“Song one is always a crucial part of an album to me. It’s gotta lock you into the vibe out of the gate,” Shomo said.
“‘Pure Ecstasy’ was birthed in a studio with Misha Mansoor, ridiculous loudspeakers, and the dumbest heaviest chugs we could chug. Once it was brought home and expanded on with Jordan Fish, there was no question it was the album opener. Play loud and kick ass.”
The new album follows 2023’s The Surface. That record debuted at number one on Billboard’s Alternative and Hard Music charts. It also produced the rock radio singles “Might Love Myself” and “I Was Alive”.
Heavy support package
Meanwhile, Texas metalcore band Fit For A King will join the tour as special guests. The band’s catalogue stretches from 2013 breakout Creation/Destruction through to 2025 album Lonely God.
Los Angeles heavy outfit Volumes will also appear on the bill. Their latest album, Mirror Touch, was released in 2025.
For Brisbane heavy music fans, it is a big January landing. Three international heavy acts will hit one Fortitude Valley room, with Beartooth returning after their previous Australian run with Pierce The Veil in 2023.

Early bird pre-sale tickets go on sale from 10am local time on Thursday, May 21. The pre-sale runs until 9am local time on Friday, May 22.
General tickets go on sale from 10am local time on Friday, May 22.
