Blues Cruise brings music greats to Brisbane River

April 14, 20251 min read

A Brisbane Blues Cruise might be the therapy you didn’t know you needed.

With autumn on our laps, locals and tourists alike are looking for inspired ways to unwind across the river city.

And it seems the people of Brisbane have found the perfect Sunday remedy.

Sam Buckley Band, Minnie Marks, and Johnny Curran are set to entertain at the next Brisbane Blues Cruise on May 25.

It involves a gentle river soiree connecting with friends, while being mesmerised by some of our best musicians.

With blues music originating from the Mississippi River in the US, many artists have conquered this connection in their performances.

So it’s not surprising music-lovers too have identified this unique relationship between the Brisbane River and the blues motherland.

Roaring blues artists such as Hussy Hicks have already played sold-out shows.

Catch 8 Ball Aitken Band and Taya Chani on June 22. Bookings: schmicklivemusic.com.

Brisbane Blues Cruises Bookings
