Elements festival brings river magic to Brisbane

October 8, 20234 min read

Elements in the Park will bring magic and colour to Brisbane’s Northshore on October 14. The purpose-built riverside venue will see the famous Love Camp stage featured on the wharf pier.

Move over Jesus and Lionel Richie!

A festival celebrating “respect, kindness, and love” in Brisbane anticipates to have revellers dancing on the water. (You know, as opposed to walking on water and dancing on the… erm, never mind).

Open to all ages, the high-vibe mini fest will bring a vibrant ‘kaleidoscope of community’ to the River City.

There will be art, circus acts, roving performers, yummy food and nourishing workshops, including ice baths, breath-work and yoga. And it’s all encased by the sumptuous sounds of pumping house trance.

Free for age 13 and under, Elements brings together the brilliant minds of the local community.

Driven by a desire for learning, growth and world-building, the event is a fabrication of each person’s creative universe.

Elements is a festival which connects people through art

Promoters say their goal is to construct “a brand new landscape to explore” each year.

Filled with opportunities for communities to engage via art installations, the performers and creators form lasting connections.

There will be games to play, music to dance to, and lifelong friendships to forge.

“Music and art have a magnetic power to unite people from all walks of life,” the organisers say.

“We’re united by our love for electronic music, discovering new genres, and growing as a tribe. In other words, you’re as important as every musician, DJ, performer, and artist because you inspire us to create Elements.

“Our vision is reflected in the diversity of our tribe and our line-up of artists. We feature musicians and creators at all stages of their careers and from various styles and genres.”

Every person at Elements is valued member of their ‘tribe’

Elements values every member of its tribe: from the freshest newborns right up to its elders, and everyone in between.

“We’re here for it if you need to let loose and free yourself from the stress and pressures of modern life.

“But we invite you to do so in a conscious way that sets a beautiful example for the younger Elementals you’ll be sharing space with.

“A special kind of magic blooms when people of all ages and backgrounds unite to celebrate life, art, and music.

“All are welcome in our world, with the only requirement being to treat fellow ‘Elementals’ with respect, kindness, and love.”

With mad tunes from Moodswing & Chevy Bass, don’t miss your opportunity to be part of this favourite Brisbane festival. And maybe some dancing on the river!

Elements in the Park is on Saturday, October 14, from 10am-6pm. The make-shift venue is at Maritime Green Hangar, Dock C, Bincote St, Hamilton, Brisbane. For more information and tickets: https://elementsfestival.com.au.
