I made mixtapes as a kid in the 1990s by recording songs from the Top 40 radio countdown. I still love a mixed bag.
These playlists bring together new songs from favourite musicians, tracks recommended by friends, discoveries from my kids and local releases I want to come back to later.
The result moves through indie, folk, surf-pop, rock, punk, electronic, hip hop, country and anything else coming out of Queensland’s music scenes.
