Gympie Music Muster will return to Amamoor Creek State Forest from August 26 to 29, 2027, with ticket payment plans now underway and the 2027 artist lineup still to be announced.
The Gympie Music Muster has been secured through to 2029 after the Queensland Government extended its partnership with the long-running regional festival for another three years.
Gympie Music Muster 2027 dates
The 2027 Muster will run from Thursday, August 26 to Sunday, August 29 at Amamoor Creek State Forest, Queensland.
The festival’s official site has already switched its main event information to 2027, with gates scheduled to open from 8am each festival day. General camping is included with festival passes, and four-day ticket holders can arrive earlier for the pre-Muster period.
2027 tickets and payment plans
Ticket payment plans for the 2027 Muster opened on October 1, 2026 and can run through to March 31, 2027. Camping options are also beginning to roll out, with further premium and accessible camping releases scheduled over the coming months.

What about the 2027 lineup?
The 2027 artist lineup has not yet been announced. The Muster says country music remains at the centre of the festival, alongside blues, folk, rock, heritage and acoustic artists across multiple stages.

Festival secured through 2029
The Queensland Government’s extended partnership gives organisers longer-term certainty for one of the state’s best-known regional music events.
The State Government says the partnership is expected to generate more than 220,000 visitor nights and inject more than $51 million into the Queensland economy across the three-year period.
The not-for-profit festival began in 1982 and is run by Gympie Muster Limited on behalf of the Apex Club of Gympie. Gympie Regional Council says the event has returned more than $21.8 million to community groups and charity partners since it began.
