Gun of Ishiki

Brisbane · Garage punk

Jeff “Chopper” Campbell, Steve McQueen and Ben O’Donoghue go back to a Newtown share house and the 1990s punk scene. Years later in Brisbane, they formed Gun of Ishiki with Bruce “The GOAT”. Rough-edged guitars, a heavy rhythm section and politically charged songs came out of sheds and rehearsal rooms before the band’s first live show at The Triffid.

Listen to Gun of Ishiki or contact the band for bookings. Read YELO’s earlier interview with Jeff Campbell for the longer story behind the band.

Paid directory placement. Editorial coverage is selected independently.
