The Wombats announce Australian Tour, including Brisbane

February 10, 20252 min read

Platinum-selling indie heroes The Wombats are heading back to their home-away-from-home this September and October.

The British lads play Brisbane Riverstage on September 26 as part of the national tour.

They also have shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

And are set to perform at SummerSalt Festival, in four regional areas.

The Wombats will arrive on our shores ready to play a stack of new tracks from their hotly-anticipated, sixth studio album, Oh! The Ocean, out on February 14.

Emerging as leading lights of the late-naughties, indie rock scene, The Wombats landed in the spotlight with 2007 debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation.

Frontman Murph, bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen and drummer Dan Haggis have maintained an incredible upward momentum since then.

Warming up the crowds in Brisbane and throughout the SummerSalt Series is Del Water Gap, while Bea and her Business and Ra Ra Viper will join the UK band for each stop on the tour.

Presale available from 12pm local time Friday 14 February
Tickets on sale to the general public from 12pm local time Monday 17 February

Fans can sign up to presale access now via secretsounds.com.
