The Gathering tour reaches Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 4, 2027, with presales opening on November 4.
Weezer will return to Queensland with Third Eye Blind and Fountains of Wayne for a bill spanning three decades of alternative rock and power pop.
The Boondall show is the only Queensland stop on the announced six-date Australian and New Zealand arena tour. General tickets go on sale on November 6 at 9am Brisbane time.
Between them, the three bands are responsible for ‘Buddy Holly’, ‘Semi-Charmed Life’ and ‘Stacy’s Mom’, bringing a substantial slice of late-’90s and early-2000s radio to one stage.
Three bands on one bill
Weezer’s catalogue stretches from their 1994 self-titled debut, known as the Blue Album, to ‘Island in the Sun’, ‘Hash Pipe’ and ‘Beverly Hills’.
The band appeared at Good Things Festival in 2025 and previously played a Brisbane headline show with Regurgitator in 2023.
Third Eye Blind’s self-titled 1997 debut produced ‘Jumper’ and ‘How’s It Going to Be’ alongside ‘Semi-Charmed Life’.
Fountains of Wayne returned to live performance in 2025, following the death of co-founder Adam Schlesinger in 2020. Their breakthrough single ‘Stacy’s Mom’ appeared on 2003’s Welcome Interstate Managers.

The Brisbane show takes place at Brisbane Entertainment Centre. All sale times below are Brisbane local time, with presales and general sale opening in November 2026.
