A sold-out crowd packed Blackflag Brewing in Coolum on Thursday night as Australian rock favourites The Rubens brought their Group Therapy tour to the Sunshine Coast.
Opening the night were Gold Coast rockers Selve, led by charismatic frontman Loki Liddle, whose theatrical moves and larger-than-life stage presence channelled a little Freddie Mercury.
The Rubens followed with a huge set, including an acoustic nod to Queensland rock legends Powderfinger, giving the packed room plenty to sing along to.
