Sunshine Coast artists, musicians, venues and event organisers have until November 10 to put forward work for Horizon Festival’s 2027 program.
Horizon Festival is inviting expressions of interest from artists, creative groups and event partners for its next Sunshine Coast edition, running from August 20–29, 2027.
Presented by Sunshine Coast Council, the arts and cultural festival is looking for developed, audience-ready projects, including live music, performance, exhibitions, installations, public programs and community events.
Who can apply?
There are two separate pathways, depending on the project.
- Artist EOI: For individual artists and collectives with work already substantially complete and ready to perform, exhibit or tour. It is not a call for seed funding, early-stage ideas or new commissions.
- Partner EOI: For venues, organisations, producers and community groups with an established event or cultural program, a confirmed or strongly supported site, a delivery team and a clear plan. Projects should be largely resourced and ready to go with minimal festival producing support.
Successful proposals will be considered for the festival program and may receive audience development, promotional and other festival-related support depending on the project. This is an opportunity to present work, not a general-purpose cash grant.
