Frenzal Rhomb to headline Redcliffe festival, Where We Belong

December 12, 20241 min read

Australian punk-rock band Frenzal Rhomb will headline Redcliffe festival Where We Belong on June 28 next year.

Best known for their songs “Never Had So Much Fun” and “You Are Not My Friend” – the band were mainstays in the Triple J 2000s era, where lead vocalist Jason Whalley and Lindsay McDougall worked as “Jay and the Doctor” on the ABC youth radio’s breakfast show.

It will be the second year for the festival, which this year saw Brisbane hip-hop heroes Butterfingers headline, and a host of local bands including Chamber Lane and Acended.

Where We Belong – where the cliffs are red and dinosaurs can breathe in the vast vacuum of space – is an all-ages affair, and kids under 12 are free.

And it’s cheap – early-bird tickets are just $45!

The festival, run by Tribe Social Belonging and Redcliffe Area Youth Space, raises much-needed for local charities.

Early bird tickets (only $45!) are now on sale: https://events.humanitix.com/where-we-belong…/tickets.
