Woodford Folk Festival is held annually over the Christmas and New Year period at Woodfordia in Woodford.

It is known as one of Australia’s best-known music and cultural gatherings, running across six days and six nights with a program that stretches well beyond music.

Alongside concerts, the festival brings together speakers, performers, workshops and community events, giving it a distinctive place in Queensland’s festival calendar.

Held at Woodfordia, it has become a long-running destination for people travelling from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and across South East Queensland.

The event runs each year from December 27 to January 1.
