Australian Crawl will reunite on stage for the first time in more than 40 years alongside Men At Work at Sandstone Point Hotel on October 18.
James Reyne, Simon Binks and David Reyne will lead the historic reunion, with Birds of Tokyo, Vika & Linda, Eskimo Joe, Boom Crash Opera and Ella Hooper also performing, as part of a huge all-Australian Red Hot Summer Tour.

Australian Crawl member John Watson, who played with the band from 1983 to 1986, will also join the reunion, with Brett Kingman, Josh Owen, Andrew McIvor, Sean Johnson, Melinda Jackson and Nicole Kurta.
The band formed on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula in the late 1970s and became one of the country’s defining rock bands, releasing songs including “The Boys Light Up”, “Reckless”, “Errol”, “Beautiful People” and “Oh No Not You Again”, before disbanding in 1986.
James Reyne said the group began by running its own shows on the peninsula before taking the music up Australia’s east coast.
“What a ride,” he said.
Simon Binks said he was looking forward to celebrating the band’s music with his former bandmates.
“Who would have thought that this far down the track three original members would be sharing the same stage once again,” he said.
Reyne recalled the early Australian Crawl shows as “howling, joyous, sunburnt” nights that grew from local boardriders’ club gigs into an east-coast touring run.
“What a delight it will be to do it all again with those of us from the original gang who haven’t yet propped permanently at Heaven’s Bar,” he said.
The Queensland leg begins at Queens Park in Toowoomba on Saturday, October 17, followed by Sandstone Point Hotel on Sunday, October 18.
The tour will return to Queensland for a final show at Coolangatta Beach on Sunday, November 1.
Men At Work return to Australian stages
The tour will also feature Colin Hay performing an exclusively Men At Work set.
Men At Work became an international success following the release of songs including “Down Under”, “Who Can It Be Now?”, “Overkill”, “Be Good Johnny” and “It’s a Mistake”.
Hay said he was looking forward to returning to Australia 45 years after one of his favourite Men At Work tours.
“I very much look forward to returning, 45 years on, to join the Red Hot Summer Tour 2026, to share the stage with old friends and new, and play those songs again, for all those who want to hear them,” he said.
