A sustainable music festival for grassroots artists in Caloundra

With Caloundra Music Festival finishing up in 2023, locals have been yearning for something in its place.

And it looks like Bulcock Street Music Festival has delivered with a sustainable green initiative, to be powered by 100 per cent battery energy.

This will make it one of the greenest music festivals in Australia, says festival director Al Jones (pictured).

Al, who owns beloved local business Bulcock Street Bazaar, says his vision is to give emerging artists a place to shine, while offering one of the best environmentally-conscious live events.

He says the festival’s eco-focused setup proves that live music can be loud, electrifying, and planet-friendly.

“We’re building something for the scene, by the scene,” Al says.

“Spaces where grassroots music festivals can thrive are getting harder to find — so we decided to create one ourselves, right here in Caloundra.”

Festival food delivery allow punters to support local business

Bulcock Street Music Festival gives festival-goers the opportunity to explore Caloundra’s best food spots with all-day food delivery.

This means punters can grab a bite to eat from outside of the event, while supporting local businesses.

Whether you’re in the mood for gourmet burgers, fresh seafood, or sweet treats, the businesses that surround the festival have it all covered.

There will also be food trucks available onsite.
