Groovin the Moo 2026 has added Australian drag performer, singer, dancer and DJ Jimi The Kween to its Lismore lineup alongside Baker Boy, Matt Corby, The Chats, and The Terrys.

The festival is returning for a special one-off event in regional NSW on May 9, with an all-ages bill spanning Australian favourites and international guests.

The lineup also includes Denzel Curry, Dope Lemon, Maple’s Pet Dinosaur, Ninajirachi, Tones And I, Angel White, The Colliflowers and Kath Ebbs Presents Cowboy Country.

Organisers have also confirmed the finalists for this year’s Planet Music Homegrown Hero Live Finals, which gives local artists the chance to win an opening slot on the festival lineup.

Mr Rhodes, Human Dinosaur Machine, Pippin, Nazare and Sun Wilde will compete at the Lismore Workers Club Auditorium on April 24. The free, all-ages finals event starts at 7pm, with the winner to join the Groovin the Moo lineup in May.

Groovin the Moo Lismore is part of this year’s Great Southern Nights program and will run from 11am to 10pm on Widjabul/Wia-bal Country.

Tickets are on sale now, with general admission from $125 plus booking fee. Youth, VIP, MobTix and affordability ticket options are also available.

More information and tickets here: https://gtm.net.au.

Groovin the Moo Lismore takes place at Oakes Oval on Saturday, May 9.
