Gympie Muster pre-party

August 21, 20232 min read

Gympie: The Gympie Music Muster, which officially kicks off this weekend from August 24-27, has celebrated with a Pre-Muster party for its four-day ticket holders.

Revellers gathered on Sunday from 2pm to see Indigo, Midwest Molly, Bud Rokesky and Natalie Pearson.

Headliners this year include; Wolfmother, Kasey Chambers, Morgan Evans, Troy Cassar-Daley, Taylor Moss, and Adam Brand.

Staged deep within the natural surrounds of the Amamoor State Forest, The Muster is a family-friendly camping and live music experience, showcasing a mix of country, roots, blues, folk and rock music as well as workshops, bush poets, Gympie Mazda Kid’s Club and more.

Did you know the first Gympie Music Muster was first held in 1982 as a celebration of the Golden Guitar win by local country family band, the Webb Brothers’?

It has since grown to become one of Australia’s most recognised and iconic fundraising events, returning more than $20 million to community groups and charities since its inception.

Over the years there have been more than 2500 performances including Australian country royalty Slim Dusty who has a camping area named in his honour.

The Muster is proudly owned by the Apex Club of Gympie and its fundamental purpose has always remained the same – to raise funds for those in need in our communities.

After Covid-19 closed the Muster in 2020 and 2021, it returned with a bigger-than-ever audience, with people travelling from across Australia to enjoy live music across seven stages.

Have you got your tickets to this year’s Gympie Music Muster?

See you there!
