Gympie Muster ticket sales better than ever

August 19, 20242 min read

Country fans from across Australia are gearing up for the nation’s most-loved country music festival, the Gympie Music Muster, from August 22-25.

Headlining an unforgettable weekend of community, connection and country music is a swag of massive acts including Brad Cox (main picture), James Johnston (pictured), Taylor Moss, Lee Kernaghan, Casey Barnes and Beccy Cole.

Joining them are Richard Clapton, Dragon, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Graeme Connors, Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows, Davisson Brothers, Tori Forsyth, Melanie Dyer, The Whitlams Black Stump, The Bushwackers, Chad Morgan, Allan Caswell and Natalie Pearson.

Australian Idol winner and one-half of Sons Of Atticus, Dylan Wright, will also take the Muster stage, joining an impressive 140 acts.

The Muster is one of the most-recognised, nation-wide fundraising events, generating more than $20 million to local community groups and charities.

First held in 1982 as a celebration of the Golden Guitar win by the Webb Brothers, the Muster has seen more than 2500 performances, including Australian country royalty Slim Dusty who has a camping area named in his honor.

This year, four-day tickets are selling quicker than last year.

And with last year’s event sold out on the first day of the festival, attendees are reminded to grab their tickets to avoid disappointment.

Earlier this year, the Muster became Festival of the Year in the Queensland Music Awards, cementing its status as the state’s premier music and camping event.

Muster CEO Greg Cavanagh says the award is testament to the hard work and dedication of the Muster team and Gympie community, and its loyal attendees.

“The Muster has always been about more than just music,” he says, “it’s about creating lasting memories, fostering community spirit, and supporting charitable causes.

“We look forward to welcoming music lovers from near and far to our 2024 event, where we will continue to showcase the best of Australian music and hospitality.”
