If you’re bursting out for a brat-girl-summer-on-repeat you’ll be happy to know Bluff Fest 2025 is nearly upon us. This means our iconic Alexandra Headland coastline is about to explode with more wholesome indie energy and moshing good times.
Aussie surf-rock legends Hockey Dad (pictured) will headline Day 1 of the November 29 event, while Coterie and South Summit will support. Local favourites Nana’s Pie, Jemzel, and Frank & Louis are also performing.
Organisers say the two-day festival’s Sunday lineup is devoted to classic rock, with Bluff Fest Day 2 to be announced on July 28.

Bluff Fest, which debuted last year, was a sell-out, with national musical treasures The Terrys (pictured with Yelo music editor Penny Brand) and The Grogans headlining.
It was backed up by a two-day festival earlier this year – Alex By The Sea – which brought Slowly Slowly, The Vanns, Dragon and Taxiride to our shores.
Proceeds from Bluff Fest directly support Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club (AHSLS), helping to fund vital volunteer patrols, training and community safety programs.
A celebration of local culture, but also a ‘major fundraiser’
AHSLS general manager Helen Butler says while Bluff Fest is “a celebration of local culture”, it’s also a major fundraiser for the club.
“Every ticket sold helps us train lifesavers, keep the beach safe, and support the next generation of volunteers.”
Tickets: Pre-register now for Bluff Fest Day 1 tickets via Oztix. This is an 18+ only event, and demand is expected to be high following last year’s success.
