Sunshine Coast musicians and music lovers will benefit from a new three-story “colossal” Bli Bli Hotel.
The Coast’s latest pub development is Mediterranean-inspired, with a rooftop terrace and lush tropical garden-style events space.
The $32 million hotel is the brainchild of Scott Armstrong and Richard Deery, known for several major South-East Queensland hospitality re-dos.
Such venues have included; Baringa Tavern, Parklands Tavern, Brightwater Hotel, and Story Bridge Hotel.
The bistro features high ceilings, and terracotta and sage hues. Hand-printed Australian bush wallpaper creates an inviting space, adjoining the rooftop terrace. It is highlighted by an impressive four-meter pink blossom tree next to a private dining area.
Bli Bli Hotel will have an eclectic style menu, curated by group executive chef Damien Grimes. It draws inspiration from the diversity of native flavours using high-quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers. With a focus on lighter, vegetable-forward options to suit the modern life, the kitchen’s centrepiece will be a live-fire grill.
Bli Bli Hotel will be a central meeting point for community
Scott says the hotel is something they can be proud of delivering to the community.
“We are thrilled to elevate the offering for Bli Bli, invigorating the social and entertainment landscape with a truly community-focused pub,” he says.
“The residents here have been waiting for this venue. And we are excited to announce that the launch is now just around the corner.
“As locals ourselves, we have taken extra care to ensure that this venue provides the best possible experience in terms of food, service and entertainment.Â
“We’re also excited to offer new employment opportunities for people in the area. And bring additional visitation from the Brisbane drive market and holidaymakers in Noosa.”
The Bli Bli Hotel also features a kids’ play area, vibrant sports bar, and gaming lounge with bar.
Live music offered at the pub is expected to bring more opportunities to local musicians.
