80s legends Pseudo Echo to take on Norton Music Factory in November

Get ready to rock to the sounds of the 80s when legendary Australian act Pseudo Echo hit Norton Music Factory on November 8.

The group (pictured in 1987) is touring the country for their 2024 MACHINE tour, complete with epic lighting and visuals, so fans can soak up all that feel-good energy from the iconic decade.

Best known for international smash hit, “Funky Town”, Pseudo Echo revolutionised the musical landscape, with their avante-garde style, and hits such as, “Listening”, “A Beat For You”, “Don’t Go”, “Living In A Dream” and “Love An Adventure”.

Exploding onto the charts, Pseudo Echo made history-making performances on popular TV music show, Countdown, where they were the first unsigned band to feature.

Soon after, Pseudo Echo signed a major record deal with EMI, receiving fifteen Gold and Platinum albums and singles, plus multiple awards including, Australia’s Most Popular Band.

They also took home awards such as Most Popular Male Performer (Brian Canham), twelve ARIA nominations including Best Producer (Brian Canham), and a Grand Prize at the Tokyo World Popular Song Festival.

Pseudo Echo has embarked on several world tours, appearing on television shows Top of the Pops, The Dick Clarke Show, The Joan Rivers Show, and MTV’s Live At The Ritz, to name a few.

Fast forward to 2024, Pseudo Echo celebrates their 40th anniversary of music with a fresh new re-mix of their tunes, from the forthcoming “MACHINE” album.
