Summer is looking sizzling hot with Aussie hip-hop masters Resin Dogs headlining the Full Moon Dance on November 25.
Heavy Wax, Thump and DJ Katch will also help bring in those feel-good, magic-moon vibes.
In the true revolutionary spirit of hip-hop, the Resin Dogs have continuously evolved, always staying a few steps ahead of the pack.
Resin Dogs produce a mash-up of Aussie-hip hop drenched in breakbeat, dancehall, dub, funk and soul.Â
Fusing live music and turntables, the group is back in big-band mode featuring guest MCs, singers and the addition of back-up singers, The Sativa Divas. They add fresh harmonies and a new sound to the classic Dogs tunes.
Heavy Wax joins Resin Dogs at Full Moon Dance
Gold Coast eight-piece roots group, Heavy Wax, come hot off the pan ready to serve up their high-energy rock-soul-funk-reggae mash.
With a punchy sound only a horn section can deliver, Heavy Wax are serious players in the music scene.
For those in search of hi-fidelity music with feeling, these guys could just be your new favourite band.
Meanwhile, Thump pay tribute to the legendary players masters of funk and soul. And will bring some of their ‘slap-thump’ funk.
Thump has a collective love for the New Orleans funk, and brings this approach to their original music. They’ll have the funk/soul/groove flowing through your bones from the moment they step on stage.Â
DJ Katch will be keeping the vibes high and the tunes flowing in the garden.
