Nashville star Jelly Roll and hoedown giant Shaboozey are set to headline a new country music festival Strummingbird which kicks off its inaugural year at Kawana Sports Precinct on October 25.
Local favourites The Dreggs are also featured on the lineup, performing alongside other big names in country Treaty Oak Revival, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell and Matt Hansen.
Beyond the two stages, Strummingbird will deliver all the classic honky-tonk vibes with a true-blue Aussie spin.
Punters can catch a line dancing class with Maddison Glover at the Howdy Howdy Saloon, or die laughing on the mechanical bull.
There will be a range of barbecue foods, cold bevvies, country fashion, merch, and everything that celebrates our one-of-a-kind country culture.
Strummingbird has a three-stop Australian tour, with shows also in Newcastle and Perth.
The festival follows in the footsteps of Kicks Entertainment’s other major events, including the Gold Coast’s Spilt Milk.
Whether you’re raised on country or just love a good guitar riff, Strummingbird welcomes all.
