Two of heavy music’s most unpredictable and influential bands are heading to Suncorp Stadium, with System Of A Down and Faith No More joining forces for a massive Brisbane show in 2027.
System Of A Down will finish their Australian stadium tour at Suncorp Stadium on Monday, February 1, marking their first headline run across the country in more than a decade.
The Armenian American four piece built one of heavy music’s most distinctive catalogues by combining metal, punk, folk influences, political fury and sudden bursts of melody. Songs including Chop Suey!, Toxicity, Aerials and B.Y.O.B. turned the band into a global force, while their live shows became known for equal parts chaos, precision and release.
The Australian dates follow a sold out stadium tour across Europe and the United Kingdom, including consecutive sell outs in Paris, London and Warsaw.
Faith No More joins every Australian show
Faith No More will appear as special guests in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The band helped redraw the boundaries of alternative music by throwing metal, funk, punk, pop and experimental sounds into the same unruly mix. Their catalogue includes Epic, Midlife Crisis, We Care a Lot and Easy, with frontman Mike Patton remaining one of rock’s most commanding and unpredictable performers.
Bringing the two bands together gives Australian audiences a rare stadium pairing built around sharp genre changes, eccentric performances and songs that have influenced generations of rock, metal and alternative artists.
