The Curated Plate brings 90 food and drink events to the Coast this winter

A food market featuring handcrafted cheeses, breads and chocolates will form part of The Curated Plate festivities on the Sunshine Coast.

The Coast’s premier food and drink festival celebrates the region’s best producers and chefs, spread over two weekends, from July 26 to August 4.

Foodies can look forward to 90 mouth-watering experiences on a farm, under the stars, by the seaside, next to a majestic mountain, on a boat, in a distillery, or at one of the many participating restaurants.

More than 200 businesses have formed to bring The Curated Plate together, with a huge variety of events such as cooking classes, culinary cruises, degustation dinners, long lunches and brunches, farm tours and high teas.

Prices range from $30-$280.

The Curated Plate’s signature events

Sunny Coast Breweries & Distilleries Festival will showcase a range of craft beer and premium spirits at Cotton Tree Park, on July 27 and 28.

The Coast has built a name as Australia’s Craft Beer Capital so if you love craft brew be sure to check it out and support local.

Cost is $23-$203. BYO picnic blanket.

Queensland’s Sunshine Pantry is a free family-friendly food market at The Station, Birtinya on July 28, with more than 70 stallholders showcasing the Coast’s finest local products.

Supported by Food and Agribusiness Network (FAN), expect handcrafted cheeses, artisanal breads, boutique chocolates, grass-fed beef and lamb, local honey, and premium coffee and tea.

The Curated Plate Food and Drink Festival is an initiative of the Sunshine Coast Council, supported by the Queensland Government, through Tourism & Events Queensland, the Food and Agribusiness Network and Visit Sunshine Coast.
