Townsville will be the first stop The Killers make when they tour Australia this November and December.
It will be the first time the US rock giants play in northern Queensland, taking over the Queensland Country Bank Stadium on November 30.
The band is also heading to Brisbane on December 9, with two shows in Sydney and one in Melbourne.
The Killers are celebrating 20 years since they blasted on to the music scene with their iconic ARIA #1 debut album, Hot Fuss.
They will bring two different concerts to our shores, Rebel Diamonds and Hot Fuss.
Rebel Diamonds features back-to-back chart-toppers from across the band’s extensive career, which they will perform in Townsville and Brisbane.
Fans dedicated to the Hot Fuss album, will love seeing The Killers play it in its entirety, with a few extra surprises, in Melbourne and Sydney.
No strangers to our shores, The Killers have been firmly adopted as “Australia’s favourite sons”, after a universally-acclaimed set at the 2017 AFL Grand Final.
Their new single, “Bright Lights”, has been lauded by Rolling Stone as “anthemic” and by NME as “euphoric”.
The band has been performing the new single at their Hot Fuss sold-out residency in their hometown of Las Vegas this past month to widespread accolades.
