The Living End will launch their 2026 regional tour on the Sunshine Coast, with the Australian rock trio set to play Venue 114 in July.

The band will bring their “I Only Trust Rock N Roll” regional tour to the Bokarina venue on July 31, opening a national run that also takes in Newcastle, Hobart, Ballarat, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Thirroul and Canberra.

For Sunshine Coast fans, it means the first night of the tour happens here.

The show is expected to dip into the band’s full-throttle live reputation, with a setlist drawing from new material and all the songs that made The Living End one of Australia’s most recognisable rock acts.

Fans can expect tracks from the “I Only Trust Rock N Roll” era alongside long-running favourites including “White Noise”, “Roll On”, “Who’s Gonna Save Us”, “All Torn Down”, “Second Solution” and “Prisoner of Society”.

A major Australian rock name for Venue 114

The Living End announcement puts another major touring name into Venue 114’s calendar, following a run of high-profile Australian acts through the Bokarina venue.

The room has hosted names including Bernard Fanning, Paul Dempsey, Amy Shark, Jimmy Barnes and Hilltop Hoods, with Ministry of Sound’s Sunshine Coast 90s Testament also headed there in July.

It also lands in a shifting Sunshine Coast live music landscape. Since the closure of The Station and Solbar, other rooms have been carrying more of the load, from larger theatre-style shows at Venue 114 to brewery gigs and touring acts at Blackflag Brewing’s Coolum and Mooloolaba venues.

Blackflag Coolum is set to host UK electronicore band Enter Shikari on May 24, while Blackflag Mooloolaba has Phil and the Blanks playing a free Black Out tap takeover show tomorrow (May 16).

The Living End play Venue 114, Bokarina, on July 31, 2026. Tickets are available now via Oztix and Face To Face Touring.
