It’s time to put the hairbrushes down and step out of the bedroom.
Songwriters from across the Sunshine Coast are being encouraged to perform at The Stone House Sessions.
The first one kicks off at Cooroy next month and will feature emerging original artists.
Organiser Sienna Bishoff says songwriters have been pouring their hearts out in their bedrooms and at open mics for too long.
“We are celebrating established and upcoming artists along their passionate music paths,” Sienna says.
“We have chosen an incredible group of local songwriters, writing powerful songs, for us and our world.
“Impacting at open mic events, we are now excited to present these mostly-secret songwriters to you.
“They share with us their soul craft. Let us gather our friends and families to make the circle complete.”
Local acts Suriandra, Morgan Ferne, Lilliahna Rogers and Jay Bishoff will perform at the first session.
All profit goes to the artists and organisers.
Homemade dahl and chai can be purchased on the night.
Please note children will need to be supervised at all times.
