Alex by the Sea 2026 will bring Skegss, Beddy Rays, The Buoys and more to Alexandra Headland this June.

The two-day event returns on June 6 and 7 at Buhk Park, near Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club. Expect live music, ocean views, food trucks and pop-up bars.

Skegss will headline day one, joined by Beddy Rays,The Buoys, Letters to Lions, Vlads, Camino Gold and local competition winner ChAMBER LANe.

The Saturday event is set just steps from the sand. Organisers are promising big energy, ocean air and a buzzing crowd as the sun goes down.

For more live music and events, see the YELO Sunshine Coast Gig Guide and What’s On Sunshine Coast.

Beachside festival lands at Alex

Alex by the Sea adds another large-scale live music weekend to Alexandra Headland, giving Sunshine Coast audiences a touring festival lineup without the drive to Brisbane.

The first day gives a nod to Australian indie and surf rock. Think coastal singalongs, loose guitars and a bloody good time by the beach.

It also continues a strong run of open-air events landing across the region, from beachside festivals to larger touring shows outside the capital-city circuit.

Ross Wilson leads Sunday session

Day two shifts into a more relaxed Sunday session, with Australian music icon Ross Wilson headlining a program built around classic hits and familiar songs by the sea.

The Sunday lineup also includes Killer Queen, The Australian INXS Tribute Show and Starshine Tribute To Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac.

Alex by the Sea is presented by Alex Surf Club. Ticket sales support the volunteers who help keep local beaches safe.

The event takes place at Buhk Park, Alexandra Headland, on June 6 and 7.

Tickets for day one are available via Oztix.
