Maroochydore: Following the release of their second single this year, surf rock trio The Grogans are back on the road playing Solbar at Ocean Street, September 10.
Fans can expect juicy new heart-felt favourites, “I’m Not Sure” and “Nowhere To Be”, with the first song a simple track exploring common everyday struggles.
“Uncertainty is okay and in some cases it leads to great things. You just have to step back and let it happen,” the Melbourne band said in a statement.
Nowhere to Be turns the bitterness of pent-up feelings into an upbeat guitar-riff filled track, rich with their signature soft-rock influences and melodic hooks.
“Ever had nothing to do but still have endless tasks to achieve? Ever had nowhere to be yet you’re still late for something? Been cut in front of in a line, snaked out in the surf?
“You can’t decide to leave or to stay.”
This is the band’s second lap of Australia and New Zealand with sellout shows at every stop, including stellar performances at Falls Creek and Splendour In The Grass.
Prior to their home tours The Grogans toured the UK and Europe selling out shows in England, France, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
