Hoodoo Gurus, James Reyne, The Angels and Chocolate Starfish will help Sandstone Point Hotel celebrate 10 years of entertaining punters.
The South-East Queensland entertainment venue, which sits at the gateway to Bribie Island, will host Party On The Point on July 26.
Leading the lineup of legends, and fresh off their sold-out Back to the Stoneage tour, Aussie faves Hoodoo Gurus will headline the event.
Mi Sex, Spy Vs Spy, The Chantoozies and Matt Finish also feature on the lineup.
Sandstone Point Hotel celebrates 10 years
Over the past 10 years, Sandstone Point Hotel (pictured) has hosted more than 700,000 music lovers.
Some of the biggest artists who have played at the hotel include Bryan Adams, The Beach Boys, Simple Minds, ICEHOUSE, Live, The Smashing Pumpkins, Jane’s Addiction and Joan Jett.
Owner Rob Comiskey says the pub’s greatest achievement is winning the Australian Hotel Association’s Best Entertainment Venue in 2023.
“I still remember the nerves surrounding our very first gig—but we didn’t start small,” Rob says.
“We kicked things off with The Beach Boys and never looked back.
“Now, hosting events is second nature. Our team runs like a well-oiled machine, and while it may feel like
just another workday, it’s always a little more fun!
“We can’t wait to see what the next 10 years have in store for Sandstone Point Hotel. And trust us—we’ve got a few more surprises up our sleeve!”
Sitting on 300 metres of unobstructed water-frontage on the Pumicestone Passage, the hotel boasts a restaurant, multiple bars, function spaces, a kids playground, beach club, and pizzeria.
Sandstone Point visitors can arrive by car, boat or helicopter.
But remember, it’s always “shaken, not stirred”.
